Mattapoisett Yacht Club clubhouse rules
MEMBERS ACCESS: The clubhouse will always be locked except when a MYC event is happening. There is open seating on the upper deck that is available to all MYC members and MBY customers. Special clubhouse access is available to MYC members by way of a fob/card system. MYC members may apply for a personal fob/card which would give you Individual clubhouse access daily from 8am-9pm from May 1-Oct 30th. There are private restrooms upstairs in the hallway of the clubhouse and also public restrooms/showers on the first floor. Private parties for members may be arranged by contacting the Clubhouse Director. The main access to the clubhouse is through the south entrance stairway (exterior deck access) and there is also handicap access through the main entrance with elevator availability. Please stay within the common area space leading to the clubhouse as this facility is a full-time boatyard with restricted areas.
Rules do apply within the clubhouse, and it will be monitored.
Basic rule of thumb: you bring it in, you take it out. Leave the area as you found it.
Clubhouse hours: 8:00am-9:00pm. (in season)
MYC members must accompany and are responsible for their guests (6 guests max).
Hosting a larger group requires prior approval from the Clubhouse Committee.
Proper attire is required. No swimsuits or bare feet are permitted in the clubhouse.
MYC members are welcome to bring in any food and beverage.
BYOB bar area has soda mixes, ice, and snacks available. (donation suggested)
MYC members only are permitted behind the bar.
All perishable food and drink brought in, must be taken out.
You must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol on the premises.
Members are personally responsible for any damages by themselves or their guests.
All furniture MUST be returned to its original arrangement before leaving.
No yacht club equipment or property may be removed from the premises.
All members are expected to clean the area and remove trash to the dumpster.
The last MYC member to leave shall lock all doors and turn off all lights.
No pets are allowed in the clubhouse.
Please report any issues or damages promptly to a Board Member.
