ANNUAL MEETING/aWARDS DINNER
October 2, 2021
The Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner is the final event of the sailing season. Traditionally
it is a festive evening that includes MYC business and recognition of sailing accomplishments
and volunteer activities on behalf of the Club.
In 2021 we have to accommodate the pandemic. Instead of the usual dinner affair, all members
are invited to attend a late afternoon cocktail party under the tent on October 2 (rain date
October 3). The formal agenda includes reviews of the year's racing and cruising activities;
awards for the Club race series and the MYC-sponsored interclub races; and recognition of
individual contributors to the Club. The event concludes with MYC's Annual Meeting, at which
Flag Officers are elected for the coming year.
The tent will be set up at the Commodore's house, 7 Pico Beach Road, Mattapoisett.
The Club provides drinks. Contributions of appetizers are welcome.
