This year Jean & Nancy, our cruise captains, would like you to join them for this cruise to observe the Perseid Meteor Shower This cruise will start from Mattapoisett on Friday August 11th with destinations Tarpaulin Cove or Menemsha depending on weather and wind directions. The meteor shower will be peaking in the night of August 12th to 13th. These two destinations have little to no light pollution which makes the spectacle even better and easier to see. On top of that this year the event will be close to the new moon which means the sky will be at its darkest for the viewing of shooting starts. The Saturday happy hour will be on the beach at either destination. Further information will be provided as we approach the date. Note: Cruise Details Subject to Change.
